One Love Festival returns with festival favourites, new additions and features
The One Love Festival (OLF) 2019 is Labour Day weekend, August 30th, 2019 to September 2nd at Downsview Park; 70 Canuck Ave, North York, ON M3K 2C5. The One Love Festival is organized by the One Love Festival INC. who have been producing and curating live music events for over 15 years.
“One Love’ is a Caribbean expression of unity. The saying refers to universal love and respect for all people, regardless of race, social status or any other defining characteristics. OneLoveFestival.to's mission is to promote the message of love through music originating out of the Caribbean diaspora and contribute positively to the multicultural fabric of Canada" says organizer Eb Reinbergs, co-organizer for One Love Festival.
The 2019 One Love Festival returns with festival favourites, new additions and features like our food village, discounted student tickets and a kids/family zone. The One Love Festival encourages people of all ages and ethnicities to come and celebrate their love of Caribbean music.
Each year, more than 14,000 people attend the One Love Festival, 2018 being the most attended event to date. The 2019 edition of the One Love Festival headliners include performances by Grammy Award winner Shabba Ranks, Mr. Killa, Sizzla, Mavado, Kes the Band (with full band), Bunji Garlin, Cocoa Tea, Nessa Preppy, Spragga Benz, Baby Cham, Agent Sasco, Patrice Roberts and Fay-Ann Lyons.
If you're a supporter of local, emerging artists, you will enjoy the One Love Festival welcome party and Canadian Caribbean artist showcase on the first night (Free admission to Canadian Showcase Night). On the second night of the festival, patrons will dance the night away under the stars with live performances and a fun foam fete party. Night three of the four-day festival features Jamaican Dancehall artists. The festival would not be complete without a Reggae night, headlining classic, reggae music and artists.
